Through
primary and secondary schools, county councils, sports groups and
organisations, Rubicon have provided skateboard lessons to thousands
of boys and girls of different ages, all across the UK. The Rubicon Skateboard School goes a little deeper than just wanting to teach skateboarding
though and a key focus for us, is to promote
healthy active lifestyles and positive attitudes in the young people of today. We want to help develop people with ambition and motivation
- and skateboarding can be a really good character building exercise. |
Whether a local
community-based project or a national undertaking, the projects we
have been involved with have often aimed to get more children engaged in sport,
have aimed to make sport more available and accessible and have been
aimed at tackling anti-social behaviour. Please see some the

We are as
passionate about teaching as we are about skateboarding and have
unrivalled level of experience in delivering both small and large

Rubicon started in
2005, when our first skateboard tutor (Geoff) ran lessons for
Winchester City Council - now we have a team of regional
instructors across the country who every day provide fun and safe skateboard
lessons to children. We have always been
strong supporters of "grass roots" skateboarding and active
supporters of skater-owned-shops and improving the quality of
skateparks and facilities. ::
